Questioning Politics Itself

Here are two arguments that I came up with the first is more about politics being meaningless and the other is about whether Christians should be in politics in the first place.

OK, If God is the owner of the universe that means it is his, he gets to make the rules.  So, in the case of politics God choices particular leaders to be in power so no matter what I think who is the best candidate for President, it is already chosen by God.  That means any form of Government whether that is Democracy, Republic, Theocracy, Communist, Socialist or any other form/hybrid of type of Government it is going to be successful or not. So Communism could in theory be right but, in the eyes of people like me Communism has failed because Communist systems in the past has failed due to the laws of nature because if you force people to do things that they don't really want to do because of sin like not unselfishly helping the poor and needy because people aren't born to help the poor and needy or at least the vast majority don't.  But what if God intended Communism to fail in our eyes in the since of economic growth that means in God's eyes it didn't fail but is successful or is Communism/any other form of Government trying to put humanity into a higher level without God and that is why Communism failed (I believe that the latter is more likely to be true).  So, it is really a heart issue with individual people trying to seek the best alternative without the simple answer, Jesus.  So, that means in one since Capitalism fails because it doesn't put God first so if anything that doesn't put God first and humanity second will fail according to God.

In regards to politics, if I'm a follower of Jesus Christ and believe in him and have a relationship with him and try to do his will as the best of my abilities it doesn't make since to put any effort into politics because I'm saved through the blood of Christ and will be with him forever and that those who don't know him will go to hell.  That means eternity is at stake for those who don't know Jesus that means Christians should stay out of politics all together because for the sake of those who don't know Jesus.  Here is why, politics is very easily divisive   I have seen it get heated very fast and I also participated in such debates mostly on Facebook.  So, why Christians should just stay out of politics all together because it would bring a more united front to Christianity itself.  That means people who we might disagree with us Christians on hot topics might let us give our take on the issues because we don't have a stake in the game of politics.  When we Christians try to legislate the Bible the people who are on the other side won't really want to hear us Christians.  A hot topic issue right now is homosexual marriages, if we Christians legislate homosexual marriages out and the homosexual community dislikes Christians because of the actions of legislating the Bible then we lost a segment of society that could of been other wise more open to the Gospel   The homosexual community now have more of an excuse to not listen to the Christian community in regards of being saved.  I'm not saying that the Church shouldn't take a stand against homosexual behavior, the church should be against the acts of homosexuality because it is clear through out the Bible but not the person instead we should love homosexual people because they can be saved through the saving blood of Jesus our great Shepherd.  Plus all sins are considered equal to God meaning one sin is a ticket to hell.

This is coming from a guy who is deep into politics and might just get out of it all together for the sake of Jesus Christ the Risen Savior.

Please Note:
I'm talking to and for the most part Christians in general.  If you feel/felt lead to go into politics for the purpose of saving people then go ahead as long as you seek/sought Godly council from your local church.  In my case as more of a debater of politics not necessarily in the realm of seeking public office, I didn't have that mind set.  So, politics for me is a self inflicting thorn (some what of what Paul was saying in 2nd Cor. 12:7 in regards to the "thorn" aka it is being more of a self inflicting thorn not necessarily from Satan).

This is Why My Life Sucks Right Now

When I started college in October, 2009, I started as an Accounting student but in 2011 I switched to become a Business Administration student so that I could run my own business and become successful.  But, a few months ago I finally got to a point where I knew something wasn't right and was in the process of trying to figure it out.  It was my pride that got in the way of my walk with the Lord. This whole process really sucks because being prideful is something in our society to be amplified. There was way too many "I"s in my life that was hindering my relationship with the Lord and needed to be humbled.  Now, I got the job at McDonald's and right now it will pay a lot more that what I was making with my business.  If I done it differently I would of because I took advise from a lot non-Christians via the internet.  So, I'm paying the dumb and idiot tax right now.  I could boil up with anger right now with my stupid decisions, but I must look to the future and pursue McDonald's.   I will probably still going to be mad at my decision of starting my own business for ME and not really put much focus on God's will and where he wants me to be.  So, McDonald's is in my mind right now a temporary shift until I figure what God wants me to do.  If you are reading this and you are about to make a big decision, pray, seek wise council, read the Bible and then make your decision.  You must do all three of them.  I didn't do any of the three before starting my business.  If I did this whole process over I would of pray, seek wise council, read the Bible and sought to be in a partnership (50/50 LLC not the typical partnership) so that I couldn't get all of the glory.
