Why Homeland Security is Targeting Christians?

I don't get why Homeland Security is targeting Christians.  They should know that a good Christian should never kill an unbeliever (for that matter a believer too but it seems more important for the unbeliever not to die because they are doom to hell if they don't willingly profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life in their life time).  The only exception to that rule of not killing an unbeliever is if that unbeliever is threatening another unbeliever and it is life threatening threat then the Christian should intervene, because the Christian is saved and the two unbelievers aren't saved.  So, when it comes down to the wire, the Christian should be the one willing to take the bullet(s) (if possible).  If there isn't any other option on the table but to kill the unbeliever that is posing the threat to the other unbeliever(s) then yes kill the unbeliever if it ever came to that point.  But the Christian should be praying to God that the situation won't involved anybody dying, but asking God's peace in the situation and if someone had to die it would be the Christians that would die first not the other way around because they are suppose to have Christ like love towards the unbelievers.

This is the main reason why I don't have a desire to own a gun, not saying guns kill people but people kill people and I don't want to be in a situation that would cause me to kill a unbeliever because their soul is more important than my body.

Another thing to point out is that we Christians shouldn't be trying to put ourselves into situations that would cause ourselves harm because that would seem a bit too prideful on the part of the Christian.  But if you are in a situation then yes, to be willing to sacrifice yourself for Christ just as Christ did the same thing for you, but also pray and lean on God.

Logically thinking about what it really means to be a Christian (or illogically it depends on who is reading this).

The Power of God

I read Ephesians Ch. 1 and it really laid out the notion that God is in control.  Think about it.  The creator of the Universe is in complete control over his creation.  It makes logical sense but for me it didn't get magnified in this way in Ephesians Ch. 1.  Verse 4 it says "even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him."  God chose us to follow him.  In verse 5, we are to be Jesus Christ's brother or sister.  God himself wants us to be co-heirs of his creation.  We humans have a very unique position in his creation.  Even though angles might be more powerful, but God created Adam and Eve with the purpose of being dominate over all creation.  We as co-heirs to the thrown of God, we should be in awe of what he is doing, because God owns the universe because he created, so he has the absolute right to do what ever he wants with his creation.  He chose to have us humans to be the dominate species over all creation.  We need to take our dominion over his creation seriously.

Personal Application to My Life:
For me, I don't want to deal with the pets that are in my life right now, but as a member of my earthly family I have a responsibility to do it, and in doing so, I should do it all to the Glory of God because we are suppose to take care of God's creation.
